Anères: French Paysan Party!
My salsa workshop teacher was playing a gig in Anères, a nearby town, so he invited us all along. Good times. Country-style, French, carnaval party! Good night. :)
To find Anères, go to Saint Gaudens at the right, and follow the yellow line... it's before the line does its downwards turn.
Unfortunately, my photos are terrible, due to low lighting.
The place where this was happening, Café d'Anères, is apparently quite well-known in the area, as they have an association which organises some kind of party/event on the 22nd of every month. This all started because of a comedy sketch by Fernand Raynaud, called « Le 22 à Asnières »... close enough to Anères to warrant a party every 22nd? I think so.
